Priced at $699(1), TDP-S35U DLP(R) Projector Features 2,000 ANSI Lumens and 2000:1 Contrast Ratio

IRVINE, Calif.- Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today introduced the TDP-S35U projector, a lightweight, portable presentation tool for mobile professionals, educators, corporate users and small-to-medium-sized businesses who demand brilliant performance at a competitive price. The TDP-S35U is available for an estimated single unit price of $699(1).

With a combination of portability and functionality, the TDP-S35U projector offers an excellent value with its 2,000 ANSI lumens and DLP(R) (digital light processing) technology for impressive visual impact and superior clarity, brightness and color fidelity for presentations in most room sizes. The projector also features 2000:1 contrast ratio (full on/full off), and native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution.

Designed to meet the multimedia demands of today, the feature-rich TDP-S35U mobile projector includes a host of multimedia capabilities and connectivity options such as two computer inputs (dual component), composite and S-video inputs, audio in/out capabilities, and a monitor output connector that allows users to view presentations from an external display in addition to what is projected on the screen. This feature allows presenters to face their audience directly, rather than turning around to read slides as they appear on the screen.

"The TDP-S35U projector delivers a robust combination of brightness, portability and versatility in the office, on the road or in the classroom at an outstanding value," said Sam Malik, director of projector sales and marketing, Toshiba Digital Products Division. "Users can also connect the TDP-S35U projector to a standard cable connection, DVD player, gaming system, and external speakers, making it a versatile projector that is ideal for both business and digital home entertainment."

Weighing only 6.6 pounds, TDP-S35U projector includes digital keystone correction and a fully loaded remote control to ensure worry-free, professional presentations - just plug the unit in, and it is ready to go. Its lightweight and mobile form-factor allow the projector to be easily transported between classrooms, offices or when traveling.

The Toshiba TDP-S35U is available for order through Toshiba’s enterprise sales team and authorized distributors, resellers, VARs, or mail-order outlets, and at www.toshibadirect.com.
